Different page templates on Bitrix?
Good afternoon dear gurus.
What we have:
1. Site on 1C Bitrix
2. Many sections with static pages
3. Each section/page has its own design/set of components
Task: It is
necessary to make sure that the content manager can apply a template from the list for any page (newly created) .
Problems with implementation via page_templates:
The template is applied to the page and written explicitly to the php file. That is, if the task arises to change html, instead of changing it once in the file with the template in page_templates, you need to edit the php file of EVERY page.
Question:
Is there a way to do it without using a lot of site templates? Share your experience, comrades.

the problem is not entirely clear, but Bitrix has a mechanism for applying templates depending on conditions
The question is how many there will be. You can try to do the following feint with your ears: Make an empty site template with an empty BODY block, but at the same time make the HEAD block normal with all ShowHeadScripts, etc. Next, make a wrapper component, in the template of which the site layout will be stored and "useful" components will be connected there . Those. we transfer the layout from the site template to the component template. There are a lot of options to pervert with a specific implementation, but I hope the essence is clear.
