Developing .NET controls in Visual Studio?

Help to find sensible literature about the subject. Now I am writing a control for WinForms. Most of all I'm interested in the support of development time control aka design time'a.
Pavel Agurov's book "C# Component Development in MS Visual Studio 2005/2008" has already been mastered. A good book, but there are inaccuracies, and, more importantly, omissions. Unfortunately, the examples described in the book are not deep enough to deal with all the problems. Also used MSDN, but the docs are hard to learn quickly. Reflector on System.Windows.Forms and System.Design and others went through. It's not easy either.
In general, are there any other books/sources that are good?
