Developer in a growing project - how to find him?

There is a startup that is already 5 years old, it works and has a user base of 50 thousand people and 4000 unique users per day. The site is monetized (but much needs to be revised), professional astro services are in demand, as users actively use them.
But due to the fact that there is no stable developer (sometimes there wasn’t enough money, then a crisis came, then the developers didn’t get along, etc.) who will take the site in hand and improve it (the last script designer has already launched a test version on Node.js but did not finish it left - but there are documents and there is a beta version made by him in 5 months).
All this time there was remote work, which does not quite suit me, now the site has begun to consistently bring $ 1200-1500 (only on search queries, without ads) which, in principle, gives me the opportunity to hire a developer, but there is no office, and remotely same experience as before.
I am ready to pay a salary and take a share (taking into account the entire future team), I am ready to go to India and work closely on the project there.
I don’t know much about development (since I’m an astrologer), and I need to know a lot (special knowledge), but in general I know what to do, in which direction to go, I can control only by the result of the work.
And here is the dilemma, I’m in Moscow, in Moscow a good developer will cost a lot, and remotely again the same rake (it’s unrealistic to expect what happens there), here’s the problem, how to find someone who will take up a startup seriously and will be interested not only shares and wages, but also purely ideas.
If it's not difficult for you, please tell me where to find a website developer, not for one day, who will at least breathe new life into it? If you are interested ask questions, I will answer.

I think there are very few programmers interested in astrology. You are not interested in the subject matter. You need to look for a person who is passionate about some kind of technology / language / framework and who is at the beginning of this "hobby", who is ready to learn something and try to implement this knowledge on your project and at the same time get very difficult 2k for his level, but you need to be prepared for the fact that this person will do the job 2-10 times slower (at the beginning) than a professional. You can only be interested in the fact that for your money and on your project a person will learn and gain experience and he will be interested in his professional growth, but not in astrology, but your project as a platform for implementing the knowledge gained and as a "portfolio". Well, you need to be prepared that when a person grows up to a pro, he will already be looking for a salary of more than 2k, but with his level, your project will also grow and most likely you will get a good result. I don’t see what can interest a professional, the subject area and 2k is clearly not the same, maybe someone will take it as a part-time job, but then the speed is unlikely to differ much from a non-professional interested in his growth, or quickly do it, get money, forget it.

on freelance sites, the labor exchange, or in thematic (programmer) parties. maybe you can find someone here. How do you know if a person is right for you? no way. well, either take a look at his natal chart;) how to find out that a person is experienced as a developer? on completed projects.

Adequate experienced developers understand that the risk is not worth the work for free (roughly speaking, you pay them with your 1500-2000 per month for a week or two of work, and the rest of the time they work for free).
There are three solutions: either increase the pay, or look for inexperienced developers (with the appropriate quality and productivity), or motivate with the perspective that the risk will give (showing your other successful payback projects that you don’t have).

I wouldn’t agree even for 4000, it seems that more than one developer has gone to bed doing this.

@OnYourLips Why is it free? if you pay them a salary and give them a share, and with good work there will be a result, the site will start to bring more money, respectively, you can immediately pay more, and if what they do does not actually bring results, and is stretched out in time, then how can it be, founder project is constantly at risk :)
2000 $ average salary, if considered in its pure form, remotely, + if you also take a share, then everything is fine! I don’t propose to work completely with a bang, for me, my conditions are acceptable, the question is whether he, the developer, needs to work on this project and how much he is ready to immerse himself in it, but it is unique and you can do very interesting things there , for which Investors will be willing to give decent money for the expansion (if the developers do not want to wait).

What is the reason? To a large extent the site was not well done from the start. and then only patched holes.

Didn't find what you were looking for?
