Develop yourself as a programmer. What to study?

While the student has enough time to study, I would like to ask what technologies are in demand that are worth studying in order to have some advantages over other graduate competitors in the future. I'm thinking of developing window applications for Windows. I don't want to be on the web. In principle, I know C ++, I have little experience in developing WinForms applications.

How is a professional different from a regular programmer? Knowledge of the application area. Programming is a tool that needs to be applied to something. Let me explain with an example: an ABS programmer must know not only algorithms and PL, but also accounting for credit institutions.
If you want to develop, choose your area of application and get drunk on knowledge and experience in the chosen direction.

In pursuit of the above, I can advise you to choose something and do it, but do it to the end, so that in the end you get a product that can be shown to others, even if it is not difficult at first glance. Two completed projects are better than five abandoned half yards. They increase experience, self-esteem and then it will be easier to find a job.
