Designers, how do you work with 4K monitors?
Hello
One of my 2 23" 1080p monitors broke. I decided to immediately take 4k 27", because my eyes were very tired from reading at 23" 1080p (soapy fonts).
I thought that in the same Photoshop I would increase everything by 2 times and it would be more- less. But it's somehow blurry.
What is your workflow?
I suspect that you use 2x size. But then you will have to edit everything in the output 2x, including font styles, which can take hours to recalculate and apply in a large document Or multiply ppi by 2 -> 144 ?

Some typesetters will say "Thank you" for the x2 layout.
Since for layout under the retina this is required.
The main thing is that you immediately warn the layout designer that the layout is x2.
So I personally wouldn't see the problem.
On the contrary, I fear that there will be huge problems with 4k.
If 4k 23 "- then how to draw, everything is small? I suspect that with 4k 27 inches it will be soapier, but there are no problems with scale. The poppy itself has Retina, IPS, TN monitors.
There is a well-established way - to design in 1x. Everything has been done for a long time automated, sketch, zeplin, photoshop - they cut 1x, 2x, 3x layouts automatically (on the contrary, it's a plus for layout designers - all sizes are relevant when measuring, in pt, px and the way they need without recalculations) Look at Avocode, Sympli and Zeplin.
I would highly advise - in addition to find a regular monitor to check (or maybe even with a poor TN matrix, like 95% of your users have), unless of course you draw for the sites you visit.
