Designer vs Coder - who wins?
There is a freelance designer whose services the company sometimes uses.
The quality of work is a separate issue, for "fast and not expensive" - you can't show much. Although, IMHO, having a desire to develop and grow, one must always do well, regardless of the amount of remuneration. The designer is satisfied with the leadership, so this question is not worth it.
Right now it's not about that.
Example. Parcel from the designer - .psd file 40 megabytes (for understanding, the whole layout is in general terms: stopcheat.ru/001.jpg ). There are no folders with images, no fonts, no vector elements, no icons in the package.
Well, okay, part can be taken from .psd, but inside the "layers" stopcheat.ru/002.jpg
Question.
Do you think I am capricious, it can get worse and I have to take it to work as it is. Or you can continue (there were many attempts, unsuccessfully) to insist that it would be good for the designer to work on accuracy and understanding that it is important not only to sell the picture to the customer, but also to make the result of their work digestible for the further work process, to structure layers, to attach fonts to layouts, vector elements, etc.

You need to tell the designer to provide assets with a layout, and if it lassoes, correctly describe the problem to the management.
UPD. The structure of the psdhi is the basic hygiene of the designer, so it’s also worth telling him about this first, and then the boss.
