Deprecated path in Django. Where to get not deprecated?

Good day everyone!
Exploring contenttypes ( here and here ) in Django, I came across these remarks:

Deprecated since version 1.7: This class was previously defined in django.contrib.contenttypes.generic. Imports in this path will be removed in Django 1.9.

But I still couldn't find a way to recommend importing generic starting from version 1.7.
Does anyone know the correct path? Thanks
