denwer execution of LAMP on ubuntu 10.10
A question for professionals and just Ubuntu experts:
is it possible to somehow organize the automatic process of creating virtual hosts for the created folders?
That is, ideally, I have a webservers (main) folder, as soon as I create the% sitename% folder in it, and in it, say, the www folder, the host for this site is automatically (or by running the script), respectively, the necessary lines in /etc/hosts, and the site starts to be available (of course, after restarting Apache) at the link %sitename%?
Ideally, of course, one would also add such a thing that in the www folder of the parent folder %sitename% there are files of the root domain, and in other folders, for example, test, in the same folder %sitename% there are subdomain files, so that a site like test is obtained .%sitename%?
Do not judge strictly, but the implementation is just interesting
