Deleted Windows 10 Users folder. Files are gone. What to do?

I accidentally deleted the users folder. She moved to the trash. After that, all data disappeared and only two folders "My Computer" and "Recycle Bin" remained on the desktop. I decided to restore the deleted Users folder from the recycle bin and found that it does not contain the files that were before. How to get back lost data?

Might be worth using restore points if available

1. Get them from the backup, if it was made.
2. Get documents from the cloud if they were synchronized there.
3. Use programs like testdisk , r-studio . Not the fact that everything will be restored, not the fact that it will be possible to save the file names and directory structure.
ATTENTION!!! Prior to restoring files, any operations on the disk they were on significantly reduce the likelihood of successful recovery.
If the data is stored not on a separate partition for data, but on the system one, as is often the case, this means that even normal PC operation (in particular, to post a question here) reduces the likelihood of file recovery (which is already far from 100%) , because during the use of programs and the OS itself, data is written to disk.
Ideally, disconnect the disk from the PC, remove the image from it, restore data from the mounted image to another medium.
If the data is overvalued - to a data recovery company. There is no guarantee either, it will be expensive, but there are more chances.

First - see if there are shadow copies.
In most cases, they are - the system makes them automatically - and restore from them
. If not - just a backup.
If the data is very valuable - urgently turn off the computer and give it to specialists.
