Debian 10 as a guest in XCP-ng 8.1 - how to install xe-guest-utilities to work properly?
I would like the guest system to inform the hypervisor about its status (memory and CPU load).
The problem is that the Xen Cloud Platform driver set contains drivers only for Debian 7-8-9
In principle, xe-guest-utilities get up, but they immediately report that they are outdated and the daemon cannot be started.
On the DomU forums, they suggest making it from Dom0 by installing xen-tools
For XenServer, they write that Debian 7-8-9 are supported in HVM, and 10 - only in PV

Nuances:
1 Debian 10.8 was heavily castrated - in particular, they removed the ssh server, which is not installed after installation ...
because the already installed client is newer than the server needs. I am using 10.7
2. Now I don’t remember where I read the news - that support for Win 7 SP1, Windows 2008 R2 and earlier will be discontinued in XCP-ng 8.2 - so I don’t plan to switch yet. Screenshot to understand the essence of the problem:
