tried built-in - it's not intended
tried questoid - crashed when starting eclipse

, are there any other workable solutions?

I did so:
You come in DDMS'e in file explorer.
You find the database you need, pull it from there and view it with any browser.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to achieve this.
