Data sync like dropbox or roaming profile, any similar solutions?
There is a need for the files of all users on the local network to be synchronized with storage within this network. At the same time, so that it does not work when loading / shutting down like a roaming profile, but something like Dropbox. Clients are connected via wi-fi, so the channel is not very fat and it will take a long time to drive large volumes, which again will affect the download / reboot speed of users' computers if a roaming profile is used.
Storing all data on the storage and accessing it through it is also not very desirable (like using a folder on the storage as a connected drive), again, because the channel is not very large and you don’t want to load it with this traffic.
Those. it is a priority that the files are stored locally and accessed directly from the computer, but at the same time their fresh copies are stored on the storage.
I tried Seafile for these purposes, but I didn’t like the implementation a little, or I didn’t set it up well.
