Cyber police - what is it?
Good day. Actually, I decided to enter the exciting path of the IT industry. Now I am graduating from a university, (4th year) specialty: "security in communication and telecommunication systems", naturally, the realization of the uselessness of university education did not come immediately and the chances of getting a job in my specialty are also not great. But now I received an offer from my acquaintances, supposedly in about a year to get a job in the IT path of the "cyber police", which is new for my country (Ukraine). Naturally, it would be foolish to refuse such an offer. But, what is the work of a cyberpoliceman all the same, I don’t have tea in my heart. Please tell me in which direction you should develop, what to learn, whether it is worth fully immersing yourself in web development, as I understand

Judging by the situation in the information space of Ukraine, the task will be to calculate the malicious quilted jackets and zradniks. Forums, social networks, comments, etc. There will probably be some rights from providers, if the state. structure of course. You may learn something, but this is all in the field of general safety in the framework of personal hygiene.
Given the number of hackers from Ukraine and the desire of the authorities to fight them, it is unlikely that work will bring pleasure.
But, what is the work of a cyberpoliceman all the same, I don’t have tea in my heart.
You will sit on the forums looking for malicious violators of the peace of Internet users and eradicate pirates from the island of Tortuga.
In fact, most likely something similar to the "department K". Applications will come from victims of the hands of hackers, pirates and the like
Hypothetically, this is an analogue of our Russian department K (the fight against blackhat hackers and other IT crimes).
In practice, most likely, it will come down to custom-made trips to check the legality of software and rummaging through forums in order to catch "extremists".
