CRUD(html, css) UI for REST JSON. On what to do?

Good afternoon!
There is a REST api that returns JSON.
This api implements a mechanism for displaying and updating data (CRUD).
Advise, on what it is possible to make the Web interface in the browser for the user?
Needed for rapid prototyping.
For example, RESTool .
It seems to fit ...
But RESTool could not be installed - 300 MB downloaded, a bunch of errors, no result.
Didn't find anything else similar.
What do you recommend trying?

In my opinion, using something like RESTool or, say, admin-on-rest is not worth it! Get tired later. It’s easier to take something like vue or react that is written easily, spend no more than 2 days studying it to figure it out if you have experience in programming (in particular, I’m talking about vue js).
