Creating your own Mozilla Firefox repack..?
This means that in our organization all access to the Internet is carried out through a proxy.
Recently, I decided to assemble my Mozilla repack, which would already be installing with the necessary configuration file, in which the necessary proxy is registered and some more settings are made.
So I downloaded the latest distribution from the office. site, unpacked it with 7-zip, got 1 setup.exe
file
and two folders: core and win32 .
As I understand it, the settings file should be placed in "core\defaults". I found a lot of manuals about this, created a "profile" folder there and placed the prefs.js file I needed there . Well, then I collected again an executable from all this.
As a result, Mozilla is installed, but the settings file is still not pre_installed. What am I doing wrong? where did you go wrong? I have already tried all possible options, the effect is the same - the file with the necessary settings is not installed. Tell me please :(
