Creating a ZIP archive on Mac OS X for reading on Windows with Cyrillic file names

Faced the problem of sending files with Cyrillic names from poppy to Windows. The files are divided into folders (some of them also have Cyrillic names), so the most common way is to compress them in ZIP, as the most common format. The problem is that if you compress a folder with standard Mac tools and open it with standard Windows tools, the encoding in the file names is lost.

Forcing recipients to use alternative unpackers (that understand Unicode in file names) is an extreme option that I really don't want to resort to.

I spent the evening studying the problem and its solutions, tried different methods, but did not manage to solve the problem. I hope that someone from the habra community has successfully completed the task and will be able to share the solution.

Solved the problem of sending files by archiving in 7z (depending on the circumstances, RAR). With the popular zip, the problem is floating and I did not find an unambiguous solution.

The problem is to force the files to be archived in UTF-8.
They write about it on the 7z forum ...
I found out by experience that you can make 7z archive in UFT-8 like this:
7z a -mcu=on test.zip
