Creating a Shortcut (Configuring Application Publishing in Visual Studio 2012 Express)?

Welcome all!
There was a need to create a shortcut on the desktop when installing the application. Going into the appropriate section of Visual Studio 2012 Express (Properties - Publication - Options - Manifests) found that the checkbox "Create a shortcut on the desktop" is not active. I read in the help system that:
Create a shortcut on the desktop Indicates the need to create an icon on the desktop when installing the application. The shortcut is only created for offline applications.
My application is standalone, see screenshot :

Question: how to activate the checkbox "Create a shortcut on the desktop"?

Try NOT the Express Edition.
