Creating a program to work with Word?

I want to create a program for generating text in Word (there will be lines in the program where you will need to enter the necessary information, for example, full name, date of birth, etc.). Please suggest the best language to implement this idea. Perhaps there is some information on this topic (videos, books, articles, etc.).

I haven't done this in 100 years, but Word provides a .com interface that makes it easy and convenient to work with from almost any language. MS recommends C#, VB and, for the rest, JS.
Since then, .docx has appeared, so there should already be third-party software in addition to this, but here I will not suggest anything.)
