Crashes Pages, Chrome and other programs when you press a certain key combination (Mac)?

There is a MacBook Pro. Installed own transliterated keyboard layout.
And now, if this own keyboard layout is enabled and I press CMD + V (on the layout it turns out to be CMD + B) being, for example, in Pages, then the program crashes. The same thing happens if I want to paste the address in the same way in the Chrome address bar.
This nonsense is terribly annoying. What can be done about it?
