Courier delivery for an online store in Moscow?
Hello. I searched, but I didn't find an answer suitable for me personally.
So, there is a small online store that has only 1-4 orders per week.
Courier services want 400 for the shipment of goods from the warehouse, then 200 (if this is not a heavy load) - 400 for delivery to the address, and if the client refuses, then they will be taken back for the same money.
In total, if the client buys, I will spend 700 rubles on delivery, if not, I will give 1000 to the courier and will not receive a profit.
Even if I sell, my store from the goods carries 400 - 2000 profits. So, if I sell something and get 400, I will give 700 to the courier and I will be in the red 300 rubles.
In short, are there any cheaper options?
I can’t hire a courier for permanent employment either, because I myself have 2-8 thousand from the store.
But Samou has already become boring to go, and there is not enough time.
Can you advise what?

There is an excellent forum on the oborot.ru website , where such a topic has long been chewed ...
There was a small review on Habré habrahabr.ru/blogs/eCommerce/107293/
In general, there is little data. What is the weight of the goods, from which warehouse should they be picked up ...
PS In general - some kind of strange model of an online store, that the cost of delivery is included in the final cost, and at the same time, the markup does not compensate for the cost of delivery.
Make expensive shipping and cheap pickup. Label it clearly. Maybe unload. Yes, and travel will be more pleasant)
Try to work with gristins, right now a lot of stores work with them, couriers are adequate, I didn’t delve into the delivery prices, but since small shops work with them, I think it’s more profitable than keeping your own courier ...
In general, I advise you to turn around with this issue. There are people who have processed with many couriers and can advise on your type of product. And your prices are some kind of "brutal" (or is there a weight of more than 5 kg?), 700 rubles. one delivery is very expensive. I work with Express.Ru (albeit in St. Petersburg) and pay 400 rubles for delivery, deliveries usually do not exceed 3 kg, even for a start, a very good price, of course not ideal, but better than carrying it yourself.
Check out baymax courier service. They deliver to us, they also have a pick-up point. Helped us out a lot at the start.
