Correspondence education - money and time down the drain?

Entered now for correspondence education, the future specialty - "Information Security".
Based on the question Is it worth it to leave the university to go into self-education, developing as a programmer in the IT field? and the answers of toster.ru users to it, I think he can change the university, or even leave from there, and engage in self-education and a career.
But again, the question arises, do large firms in the IT field take without higher education ..
And which is better, full-time education, or part-time ..?

25 years. There is no tower. 2 years experience in frontend. Freelancer. For fun, I posted a resume, they invited me to a good company in Moscow to develop web applications. They didn’t care about the absence of my tower, do you know Angular? Me not. Dispersed. Zp 80k offered. If you look for similar vacancies, you can understand that no one needs a fucking tower.
But it will be needed as a crust when emigrating to the United States, h1b is issued if you have a 4-year bachelor's degree or official experience of 12 years.
In general, I earn 1500k bucks on freelancing, and there is little experience and the Hindu sphere itself. If I gain experience and good knowledge, then I plan to receive 3k bucks. At the current exchange rate, this is 180,000 rubles. So it would be stupid if they asked for a tower for a job with a salary of 80k. By the way, if you apply for a developer's salary of 200k rubles, then yes, the situation turns in a different way - there are more vacancies where a tower is required, but also 5-7 years of experience in addition. Well, they are on ... freelance drives, the main thing is self-education, I think

Yes, no one cares what kind of crust you have. What matters is what you can do. Experience in the web 9 months, I work in a good and stable company. And you need knowledge of bitrix, I did not know it. They took it on the condition that I would actively study it. Now I'm chewing on it. The salary suits me, so I get paid for what I study, and I don't pay for education. But... I'm going to be a programmer next year anyway. Not for the crust, but for the structure of learning. I myself learn not badly and quickly, but I'm not sure that this is the maximum effectiveness of training. I will check on my own experience.

the tower is required only if you go to work in a budgetary organization as an enikey worker, oddly enough, or in the state. a corporation like Gazprom
