CoreAudio on iOS and working with audio on iOS?

Some time ago I became interested in working with sound on iOS. I noticed that there are very few manuals on this topic. There are manuals from Apple, but they are quite confusing and it is not clear where to start reading. iOS has a good set of methods for working with sound, including AudioUnit, AVFoundation, Audio Queue, and OpenAL.
Maybe someone understands this issue very well and can advise literature, sites, any reading material on this topic.

I myself encountered a similar one, there is unrealistically little information, those examples that are so artificial that they bring practically no benefit. I think that you have already studied the Apple development sites, so on my own I will advise the book Core Audio Rough Cuts. Helps to get comfortable, and then things go easier.
