Copyright in every project file, or not?

I am preparing to release a web application under the MIT License, Open Source.
The question is, do I need to add @package, @version, @copyright, @license to every project file, or will index.php suffice?
How do you usually act?

Need. Imagine that someone (for whatever reason) gets only one file from the entire project.

Not necessary. If the code does not contain a copyright, this does not mean that you can do anything with it.
