Copycats attack or where to go?

Good day habrozhiteli,
I ran into one not very pleasant situation for myself: it took me, once again, to get into some area in which I do not understand anything. The first step, for me, is always to find a few books in English, download them and study them.
This is the algorithm I decided to use now. But I failed, my best friend -avaxhome.ws/ebooks/, who always helped me out, now contains only broken links. Almost nothing can be found!
So I had a question, where are you looking for technical and near-technical literature in English?

I mostly google. Especially if the idea of something is completely superficial, then you can very quickly acquire a good selection on the topic. Somehow it turns out to ask like this:
intitle:”index of” +”parent directory” +”pdf” amazon s3 web service programming

It is possible on tracker aggregators - such as isohunt.com
And recently I generally saw a repository on github that contained books in pdf - you press raw and the book is loaded for you. Here is a file hosting.

By specialty: here , not by specialty - with the help of Google. Even in "google documents", by the way, there are quite a lot of high-quality useful articles.
Well, looking for magazines on websites is a thankless task. They most often demand money for articles.

There is a lot more on torrent trackers, in sections about books.

en.bookfi.org/
sci-hub.org/
Please don't overload them. Painfully useful.
