Console CUI for MySQL?

Is there any console CUI for MySQL that would be a la PHPMyAdmin or at least minimal functions.

It seems that there is no interface on *curses, but usually they suggest using local phpMyAdmin+Lynx.

MySQL Workbench (http://wb.mysql.com/), look, although as a replacement for phpMyAdmin it seemed to me not very convenient (but it is convenient to design in it :) ).

Do you really need a console? If not, then you can use MySQL Workbench.
