Connections to mysql from asterisk hang

In two different servers there is:
- a VOIP server on asterisk
- in another DC there is a server with a database

At some moments when there are communication problems between DCs (So small that no one can notice them + Database replication between server data does not fall) , requests can hang and hang until asterix restarts. That is, for working with asterix's mysql, it is very weak. What ideas are there for solving this problem, requests also do not fall off by timeout
