Connect Multifon (Megfon) and Cisco 7940 directly without Asterisk?

I want to connect to the multiphone directly using the Cisco 7940G. The application is almost homemade, there is no special need to create a full-fledged office PBX. I wanted to use a multiphone as a connection point without an intermediate Asterisk.
Actually a question - whether it is possible. Are there any insurmountable problems with this combination of equipment.
Why Cisco 7940G? because they are in stock and just like these phones.

If you hang the Cisco 7940G on a white IP (which I highly do not recommend), then you can.
I am not aware of any ciscophone normally working behind NAT.
