Configuration file name?

Is there any difference in the name of the docker configuration file along the etc / docker path (Ubuntu)
I have docker.json , in the docks I see that there should be daemon.json

I think it should be called daemon.json, because some internal docker setting goes to a specific config, and not to something with a json extension that lies in the etc/docker folder
