Config.php not applying changes?

I read on the Internet, I understood what was the reason, I put the PHP version higher and now I need to use "mysqli".
I found how to solve it, corrected the necessary config.php and admin/config.php
Now everything is ok in the admin panel, but everything is the same on the front, and I just deleted this config file, still the same errors and the same page .
Can anyone come across this?
