Composer asks for a username and password, what should I do?

I install the extension for yii2 through Composer
, the process starts, then I get this:

Could not fetch https://api.github.com/repos/jquery/jquery, enter your GitHub credentials to go over the API rate limit
The credentials will be swapped for an OAuth token stored in C:/Users/NATALI/AppData/Roaming/Composer/auth.json, your password will not be stored
To revoke access to this token you can visit https://github.com/settings/applications

What to do with it. I enter my login for githuba asks for a password, but no characters are printed. I use openserver if that has anything to do with it.

A lot of requests to github, you need to enter a login and password, it will create an oauth token that will work further. See the discussion in the thread yiiframework.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20011
