Comfortable Frontend development. Or how to properly combine Windows and Linux?

Hello!
How to properly organize the development of a client-side application? Tru frontend ery help.

  • Windows - required to run (test) the Web application itself (client-side). Those. in Google Chrome/Firefox. The application works with the server on nodejs (websockets) + the client part uses WebGL
  • Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) - required for the development of the application itself. + it is possible to raise the server in the same place

How to combine it on one computer? For example, put linux in virtualbox and windows as the main axis. Or engage in development only on windows (not a particularly suitable option).
Are there any optimal solutions? More comfortable and correct?
I think many frontend developers have faced the same situation.
I would like to use Windows sometimes for playing;)

I installed Mac OS X (by downloading the original image from apple for free) on an SSD.
The mac has everything you need for frontend and more. Plus convenience and a lot of ready-made solutions.
Under mac, those programs work that on linux need to be run under wine. Same PS.
Windows put on a separate HHD, just for the latest in the gaming industry.
Under the poppy out of the box, there are such popular projects as WoW, Diablo, EvE Online, CS and other MMOs.

I don't see any reason not to put Windows on a virtual machine.

I did like this:
, add the line
so that when the virtual machine starts, our folder from the host would immediately cling

  • Then we do anything: from simple commands through the virtual machine window to setting up remote ssh external tools and hot keys in the IDE

What's the problem, put it next to it, leave your Windows as it is now, next to Linux.
In order not to load Windows for the sake of simply testing it in Windows browsers, put Windows also in virtualbox.

Probably due to dampness and / or temperature changes, the contacts and tracks in it oxidized. Maybe the service will help, or maybe the final skiff for him. You yourself are apparently not strong in electronics repair, otherwise there would be details in the question.

The question is a lot to close. I disassembled the rack, unscrew the bolts and it turned on. I did not understand exactly the reason, the cable seemed to be inserted well.
