Combining Excel & Visio. Underwater rocks. How to remove them?

Visio has data insertion from Excel.
Installed Office 2016 and Visio. Of course, different settings, because I did not find it in one "box".
So, when you try to link an Excel spreadsheet to a Visio drawing, you get the message "Error 800a0e7a: The specified provider cannot be found. It is probably not installed correctly."
How to overcome it?
