Combining angular, yii2?

Tell me, I quit programming and now I'm back again. I didn’t have much experience, that is, I know yii2, angular, jquery, less ... But I didn’t really develop anything, almost .. It’s
worth learning more angular, I’m still learning yii2 and I want to do simple projects on it. What is the point of dividing the client side into angular, the server side into yii2? Should I look at angular after I am confident in my abilities in yii2 or should I not try to learn everything at once?

Take Laravel and be smart. If there is no normal experience with javascript (jquery does not count) - it's better not to take angular. Better wait a bit until ng2 is released, too much bullshit has been written on ng1, it's enough to look at the questions on the toaster.
But on the issue of "combination" - it is necessary to teach separately, and it's all to work independently of each other. Angulars separately, backends separately, between them rest api. Well, that is, the backends do not know anything about what the client is written on and vice versa.

It all depends on what you are going to do. Many companies separate the server and client parts. And they recruit highly specialized programmers. If you gravitate toward JS, then you should familiarize yourself with Angular. Well, or for general development. Until you try, you won't know.
If you are going to use Yii2 for the server side, then I advise you to read yiiframework.domain-na.me/doc/guide/2.0/ru/rest-qu...
