Collecting statistics of your site through cron?
I was thinking, if the project is large, it will be quite gemorno to invest in each action events that will increase the statistics counters. And just as hemorrhagic, it will pull out a new one every time, I think it's too resource-consuming, that's why the counters.
How about a cron that runs constantly and updates the counters?
