Code coverage tool for C/C++?

I would like to be able to instrument the code built using any builder (make/cmake/qmake/waf) and check coverage with tests written using tools that are independent of the code coverage tool.

Bullseye is indeed quite an easy-to-use tool that allows you to collect various metrics and present them graphically.
