Is it true that in CI it is impossible to process such a request without crutches and send it to a specific controller: example.com/crap (using Cyrillic even in this example is optional)?

, in CodeIgniter there is really no native support for mod_rewrite
It works without crutches - therefore, the absence of crutches, due to the need for their presence, hardly makes sense to call “lack of support”.
