Zend Framework

CMS on ZendFramework?

Actually the subject, now we are using TomatoCMS:
1) it is abandoned,
2) it is impossible to write,
3) the deadlines do not coincide with those kilograms of code that need to be written for simple functionality.
Who worked with what? What are the suggestions?

Zend Critical? Why such attachment? It is better to choose tsms by tasks and not by the framework on which it is written.

ZendFramework is a heavy bunch of abstraction. It may be that you don’t need to generate kilograms of code for it, but at the start it will obviously take a lot of time. The taliban is right, you need to choose for a specific task in the current context.

If possible, it is needed for such needs: Acl, User management, shop, jquery (native support), mail management and statics, faq.

Recently, I wanted to reduce development time with CMF. We do the same on Zend.
Went through 10 different pieces. I looked at the code so that it was decently written.
I really liked this development. habrahabr.ru/blogs/zend_framework/84313/
and one more (I don’t remember the link now, because from home)
For my tasks, it’s easier to simply throw the frame myself. Somehow I didn’t feel like dragging a bunch of extra bibles, and then answering for them.
If you are forced to use ZF, but this does not mean that you need to use only ZF. If some components do not suit you, then it is easier to change them to third-party ones ...
For example, if you are not satisfied with Zend_Db - Screw Doctrine
To send mail, for example, I use swiftMail. It turned out to be easier than the Zend_Mail + Zend_Queue solution
and so on ...
Although there are not bad modules in Zend, but there are those whose code makes me shudder.
In short, healthy pragmatism is needed here.
PS. Look at the Symfony ideology 2) Very nice.
PS2: Zend_Tool + all sorts of code generators can also be useful, because. speed up development.
