Clogged hard drive in Linux?

Good afternoon,
the hard disk is clogged in Linux Mint, I ran it with the Disk-A analyzer, I saw that in the user's home folder there is a ~.Private folder, which is full of files like ENCRYPTFS_FNEK_ENCRYPTED *, what to do with it, how to free up disk space?

Judging by the names of the files, these are some traces of the regular encryption of the home folder - perhaps the system was first delivered with such encryption, and then rearranged without formatting without? I just never used it and don't intend to, so I can't say for sure.

First of all, it is necessary to determine what process "gives birth" to this economy. if you don’t immediately think of anything (well, I mean, it’s better for you to know what’s on your computer and it’s working), then you can search - monitor it.
I would start with lsof -f | grep ~/.Private , and so on, see the pid of the process and catch the culprit. Further on the circumstances.

He cured it terribly from the point of view of the admin, recreated the user, backed up the data of the main user, went from the new one and erased everything that the encryption system created, it is obvious that all user data went with it, then on the new user restored the data from the backup, reinstalled a couple of applications , for that he freed the tin)
