Good afternoon. Sometimes you have to help users recover passwords for resources.
In terms of various kinds of public sites, everything is simple, as a rule, a link is sent to the mail and all the work is then done without me.
But there are cases when a person works with private file storages or closed links (for example, as authentication on a God-forgotten site through server tools) or the user does not have the opportunity to check his mail.
If there is a lot of software for IE, then it is not enough for the popular Chrome.
Found the ChromePass app . But the Internet has different opinions about it. I found an article on Habré about passwords in Chrome , and even found a noteabout ChromePass, dated here already in 2008, and then the author was downvoted.
I don't have reverse engineering software skills, I don't have knowledge of asm to understand software.
I ran it on a virtual machine, I did not notice any network activity.
Tell me if this software can be used in the corporate sector, or is it dangerous and then you won't get any problems.
I will say right away that many users connect through a proxy, and many sit directly, and if the software steals passwords, they can fly away (the offices are different).

You can use the Roboform program, for chrome there is an add-on Roboform Lite, which is free. Available for IE, Opera, Firefox and others. There are also separate applications for Android and Windows (paid for Windows).
