Chromebook for developer?

Hello.
I got 3 new CHROMEBooks. (Acer Chromebook C720) I'm
thinking whether to keep one or not.
CHROME-OS is built on the Linux kernel, but everything is trimmed there (judging by the reviews)
In general.
Do you think it is suitable for web development? (at least work through nano, no difference) without reinstalling the OS?
Basic requirements - an editor (nano, sublimetext or similar), +git, a full-fledged terminal, a lightweight graph editor, and the ability to install a couple of frameworks locally (like ionic)
And owners - how do you use it?

CHROMEBook is not originally a productive machine. Even though you put Linux there, even Windows, even Chrome OS, performance will not be enough for development.
Any IDE, when you open the project code in it, will begin to make groans and pleas for more powerful hardware.
CHROMEBook is a good solution for a grandmother who wants to read the news and watch TV shows.
