Chrome on Ubuntu. After switching the language, the input in the browser and on the pages and in the address bar stops working. What to do? The virtual keyboard also refuses to work. Now I write everything in notepad, then copy-paste into the browser. Those. the browser does not freeze and works properly, just does not respond to keyboard input. Moreover, trl-c/ctrl-v also does not work - you have to insert it through the context menu. Sometimes you can successfully switch the language, but sooner or later the input is disabled. Rather, this is one of the consequences of a brilliant bug feature of the GNOME developers called iBus integration.
