Choosing the main site mirror?
Hello.
Please tell me, I have never dealt with these things, that's why the question.
I have a site, I recently installed SSL on it, it was displayed and indexed well in the search,
but now it has crashed. Sometimes it shows a site with https:// sometimes https://www....
and sometimes no www at all.
Site on Bitrix. Tell me what is better to specify in hosts and what it affects in general.
Thanks in advance.

I do not know the specifics of Bitrix. However, my opinion is this:
When ssl was introduced, they did not switch to relative links, that's the problem.
Now you need to do the following:
1. Clean up all links from www from the site and from the database, and we are talking even about pictures.
2. Set the host directive in the robot.txt file.
3. In the configuration of your web server, set up a 301 redirect from www to non-www and a redirect from http to https.
4. In Yandex.Webmaster, force the configuration of the main mirror.
5. Wait.
Probably the positions did not fall because of the main mirror. You had http pages in the index. When you implemented ssl, all your pages became https, and old pages stopped opening. From the point of view of browsers, http and https are different pages. The search engine began to clean out the old and index the new. You have duplicate content. In addition, all the reference mass, if any, referred to http. Now she is gone. This is also a negative factor.
