Choosing a laptop for linux?

Hello! I decided to get off my computer to a laptop, the budget is limited, but still advise what is better to choose. I'm developing on django, so pycharm, local postgre and mysql servers, like everything. Periodically I want to display an image on my monitor. The distribution kit is now using linux mint, I want to install it on the laptop. I'm looking at i3. Advise configurations or already tested laptops. Thanks

In order not to guess, Ubuntu has a list of laptops certified for use with Ubuntu

In general, from the recommendations - Dell is very good friends with Linux, you can take any without looking. Everything is good enough for ASUS.
Ubuntu 16.04 now supports more laptops than the previous version. Linux Mint based on the new Ubuntu is expected to be released in June.

As mentioned above, be sure to find out what kind of Wi-fi module it is. At one time, I had to suffer for a long time with BCM43142

If the laptop has a discrete graphics card, you need to make sure that Linux Mint works correctly with it. Otherwise, it will always be on, and the battery will run out very quickly. There is a bumblebee project for Nvidia Optimus.
