But with a little effort (manual filtering), good recommendations can be obtained.
But first you will need to evaluate a fairly decent (about a hundred) list of books that you have already read. This is so that the system determines your preferences and finds readers close to you.
In any case, it is impossible to read thousands of reviews, and all absolute ratings are similar to the average temperature in a hospital.
So, in general, Imhonet's approach is correct, only they lacked the development of clustering and a system for determining authorities.
