Choice of text code editor with FTP client - maybe Emacs?
Hello.
I'm looking for some simple and lightweight text editor with an FTP client for Macos.
Right now I'm using Aptana (aka Eclipse) + Remote System Control. There I am completely satisfied with the functionality - but I am not satisfied with the slowness and buggy. I want something more light, so I don’t need the rest of the power of the eclipse functions.
A special request to emax/VI experts - maybe Xemacs or Vi can be configured to have an FTP navigator?
It is very convenient to have a bunch of small projects in the editor to go to FTP right away.
Thank you all in advance.
Sublime+SFTP is a very good option - but expensive. Again, the power of sublima is useless to me and I don’t want to pay.

Only not xemacs, but just emacs, xemacs is a slightly different thing.
And so you take tramp and that’s it, and don’t forget ido.
Looks something like this:
1. of course, this is emax. No matter how I tell you, I didn’t do it myself, ido is enough for me.
2. start using, learn what you need. It just doesn't make much sense to read anything. First you need three things: Cx Cf; Cx Cs and Cx k.
3. I'm not very familiar with him, but he had problems with Unicode before, tramp still doesn't seem to work for him.
I've been on Linux for a long time, I won't say anything about aquamacs, but according to various videos, everyone on the poppy uses it.
4. I don't know.
went through a bunch, or they are all monstrous, or ftp is done through the ass, and sometimes paid. Finally settled on macrabbit.com/espresso/
Emax has tramp. Looks like this.
This is if scp suits you. Editing takes place on the local machine in / tmp, by C-xs it leaves via scp to a remote host.
