Choice of environment or Unity?

Good day!
There was a need to simulate the result of work on the topic: " Controlling the movement of a formation in multi-agent systems "
Essence : there are a certain number of objects that "fly" and hold a certain formation (figure). Objects also have such characteristics as speed and acceleration of movement. The goal of the entire "flight" is to overcome obstacles and return back to the ranks. Each object to solve these problems uses the following systemcf7kya0.png
The solution of the system gives the subsequent coordinates and the corresponding acceleration. The objects have moved and we are calculating the coordinates again. The challenge is to model it all. Modeling in 2D showed the performance of my work, although then there was only speed (without acceleration). Is Unity suitable for these purposes?

Of course it fits.
Calculations by calculations, visualization is a separate task, and Unity will do an excellent job with it.
Unity in this experiment will be responsible only for the visual part, and all forces can be thrown to other tasks.
+ the built-in physics engine can be used without having to do all the calculations from scratch.
