Check validation. IAP. Which package to use for OpenSSL?

I develop and study In App Purchases at the course. The course is no longer new and uses the openssl (Cocoapods) package. No matter how much I try to download and install it, errors pop up. The repository has not been updated for 2-3 years.
Can you suggest an alternative or how to implement it correctly?
I need, as I understand it, to work with openSSL.
