Characters are not removed from the backspace input field in Internet Explorer

Due to an oversight, there is an interesting bug in the resulting layout of the site. In IE, in input fields, it is impossible to use the deletion of characters using the backspace key. It's fine in other browsers. Sometimes the same behavior in chrome (but not chromium) skips.

The same trouble in the simplified form on a subdomain.
Here is the form

Tell me with a fresh look, what kind of strangeness is this?

There is no IE to check, but most likely the problem is in the onKeyPress controls - the webLoginEnter function returns false and the backspace character is not processed. Faced the same issue when using the onKeyDown event.
