Changing the keyboard layout icon in Elementary OS

In the icon panel, the keyboard icon is broken, is it possible to remove it and set the layout letters to uppercase? I am new to Linux, I decided to start with the assembly of Elementary OS, maybe through the terminal somehow?

PS Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Find and download any icons like these , put them in the ~/.icons/flags directory , open a terminal and type the following command:
gsettings set org.gnome.libgnomekbd.indicator show-flags true
In my case, I took two icons ru.png and en.png
