CentOS 5.x 6.x Remi/Atomic/CentosALT repositories selection?
Hi all.
Task: Raise the current web server 5 and 6 versions of CentOS
Help me decide on additional reps.
Targets:
1. CentOS 5.x - php 5.2.x, httpd 2.2.x, MySQL 5.1.x
2. CentOS 6.x - php 5.3.x, httpd 2.2.x, MySQL 5.5.x
PHP
For version 5: needed php version 5.2.x, in my opinion, is more suitable for CentosALT, patches are applied faster
for version 6, I think too, although Remi and Atomic also provide current 5.3.x Whom do you trust more?
HTTPD
There is only one choice, CentosALT in the rest there is simply no Apache
MySQL
For version 5, you need 5.1.x, only Atomic is suitable here
For 6, of course, Remi or is it still Atomic? Need version 5.5.x
What do you think about this…

I have remi for php-fpm
Nginx has a repository for Centos
nginx.org/packages/centos/ $releasever/$basearch/
Firstly, you should abandon apache, secondly, centalt seems to be no longer supported (?), At work we mainly use remi, but we still have our own repository, or rather a mirror from different repos (for example, for nginx with geoip).
